A ‘LaVernia Legacy’
at the Corner. . .

When I first
spoke with Mrs. "Olsen" [named changed to protect privacy] . . . about her
knowledge of LaVernia’s history, she said that she had not lived here long enough to know
anything of historical use. However, the fact that she lives in a
house that is almost 100 years old is "historical" in itself!
The Cibolo Creek Bridge . . . which
runs behind her house. . .
an imaginary line on the wall several feet high where the waters from the
Cibolo rose and ran through her home. . . .
