MEETINGS:

We meet the first Tuesday of the months  September through May only, at 7PM in the GVEC Community Room on Highway 87 in La Vernia, Texas.  Anyone interested in the history of La Vernia is welcome!

The fifth issue of Lavernia Legacies, featuring eight of our oldest local churches will be available for an $8 donation.  The issue contains photos, histories, lists of pastors/priests and more.  Completely indexed.  All five issues may be purchased for a $30 donation.  Click here to order.

Docent Organization
We are beginning a program to welcome tours and groups to our museum.  Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer Docent (museum guide) is invited to call 830-779-1045.  Chairman, Joyce Beck. 

Monthly Newsletter:  Mailed or emailed to members before the end of each month. Please make sure we have your correct address and email address. Also available here.

Executive Committee
The executive committee meets on the last Thursday of each month at the GVEC Community Room from 9:30am to 10:15am.

Oral histories are collected  by members of the LVHA in an effort to preserve the stories and memories of La Vernia.  We encourage you to interview your La Vernia ancestors today!  For information about how to collect oral history, visit the
