
| The purpose of the
Chihuahua Trail Art Show is to generate interest in Lavernia's past and
present as a subject for fine art, and to support and encourage local
artists. The Chihuahua Trail Art Show will be held November 8 & 9,
2008. All
of the art is available for purchase. The juried show is judged by a
qualified panel. Prizes are awarded for First, Second and Third Place.
Honorable Mention awards are also presented. Local, professional artists are invited to participate by applying prior to August 31, 2008. Artists are asked to submit at least one work of art in the theme of the show. Artists may submit up to six works. The theme for 2007 was "Rural Lavernia and the Cibolo Valley." See photos, below.
